Shipping Destinations and Restrictions

However, due to the size and weight of certain furniture items, as well as logistical constraints with our carriers, there may be restrictions on where specific products can be delivered.
For example, oversized items may not be eligible for delivery to remote locations, PO Boxes, or military addresses (APO/FPO). If you are ordering a particularly large or heavy item, our system will automatically verify if your address is within the serviceable area during the checkout process. If your location is restricted for a specific item, we will notify you before you complete your purchase.
We also reserve the right to limit the quantity of items shipped to a single address to prevent resale or commercial use without prior authorization.
Shipment Tracking and Notifications

Delivery Procedures and Receipt

It is imperative that you or an authorized representative are present at the time of delivery to accept the shipment. If you are not present, the carrier may leave the item at their discretion or return it to the depot, which could result in re-delivery fees.
Inspecting Your Delivery
We take great pride in the condition of our products when they leave our facility. However, the rigors of transit can occasionally result in damage. To protect your investment, please inspect all packages thoroughly upon arrival.
Check the exterior of the boxes for any signs of severe impact, water damage, or tearing. If your shipment includes visible furniture or glass, examine these items for cracks, scratches, or structural issues before the delivery driver leaves.
If you notice any damage to the packaging or the product, do not accept the shipment, or if you have already accepted it, note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt (the “Proof of Delivery” or POD). Take photographs of the damaged packaging and the item itself. You must report any visible damage to Quirky Chair customer support within a short timeframe of delivery to initiate a claim. Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt may limit our ability to assist you with a replacement or repair.
Lost or Stolen Packages
While rare, packages can sometimes be marked as delivered by the carrier but not immediately found at the delivery location. If your tracking information states that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend checking around your property, including porches, garages, and with neighbors.
If the package remains missing after a thorough search, please contact us so we can assist you in investigating the matter with the carrier. Quirky Chair is not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered and subsequently stolen from the delivery address.
Changes to Shipping Address
It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address entered at checkout is correct. Once an order is placed, we may not be able to change the shipping address if the order has already been processed or handed over to the carrier.
If you realize you have made an error in your address, please contact us immediately. If the package has already shipped, you may need to work directly with the carrier to redirect the package, which may incur additional fees that are the responsibility of the customer.
International Shipping
Currently, quirkychair.com focuses its operations on domestic shipping within the United States. We do not currently offer direct international shipping to other countries. However, we understand our international friends may love our style. You may utilize third-party freight forwarding services at your own risk. Please be aware that Quirky Chair is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply to such shipments, nor can we guarantee the condition of items once they leave our custody to a third-party forwarder.
